  1. You look adorable! I’m so glad that Christmas tree smells don’t make your stomach turn– that would be horrible around this time of year- ha!

I’m happy to finally be recovering from being sick.

    • So glad you’re feeling better! Can’t believe you almost (?) broke a rib from coughing, lady!

  2. Wow, can I steal your happiness list? So many of those things are also on mine. I’d like to add reunions with old friends and having heat in the office! 🙂 Also, the smell of Chanukkah candles, which I’ll be enjoying tonight (ok, so really it’s probably just the smell of the matches, but it brings on a flood of Chanukkah memories).

    • Happy Chanukkah to you, my friend!

  3. I told Anoop Desai that all I wanted for Christmas was his promise of more music and shows. Anoop tweeted to me “consider them promised” ~much happiness!

My daughter’s request for the gingerbread house icing mortar recipe from elementary school made me happy that she’s using it for the youth at church. Like Joni Mitchell sings~ “the seasons, they go round and round” 🙂

  4. You look so beautiful. I want to rub your belly. Was that just weird? Sorry. I’m one of “those” people who likes to rub pregnant ladies bellies. I actually didn’t mind it when people would ask me to rub my belly either. Wait…is that weird too? I’ll stop now 😉

    • You are too funny! Also: I have no objection to you virtually rubbing my belly. 🙂

  5. My happiness list for today includes your happiness list! What a nice thing to do. Other items would be end of year days off to use up vacation days, Conan O’Brien’s TV show and your Christmas card outtakes.

  6. christmas tree smell is one of my all time favorite scents! (born & raised in oregon, where the trees grow 🙂 Can’t wait to pick ours up this weekend!

    you are looking lovely.

  7. Ditto to all of your list! I’ll add: the smell of my house after I Swiffer the floors, winter hats with pom-poms on top (for the kids, of course!) and already mailing my Christmas cards!

    • Dude — I’m impressed! Swiffering the floors AND getting out your holiday cards early. Mad props, mama!

  8. You look so great mama! Healthy and happy! I am so happy for you!

I love all things Christmas right now and seeing the kids light up at the thought of Santa coming is beyond adorable.
