Santa brought Small Fry all kinds of fun old-school games for Christmas, like Candy Land, Lite Brite, Memory and Cootie (remember Cootie?). Mama especially enjoys games even though NO ONE will play with me because I tend to get a teensy bit competitive.

No one except Small Fry, that is.

Sucker.

  1. I loved my Etch-A-Sketch once I learned how to coordinate the knobs!
I still like to color! Sadly, I never had a LiteBrite… maybe Santa will bring me one next year *sigh* πŸ™‚

  2. I loved my light bright when I was a kid! It was one of my favorite toys! I can’t get my little guy interested in it at all! Maybe it’s a girl thing! And the new ones are so much cooler than the older ones – box screens vs. the cool flat screens of today!

  3. I think you’ve met your match in Small Fry. That kid has the smarts and ‘tude to out play you! =)

  4. Tell Small Fry her 4-year old boyfriend next door got Lite Brite, too! His was from Nonni.

  5. Santa, obviously rocks πŸ™‚ Doesnt get much better than those games!!

  6. Awesome! I LOVED Lite Brite. Santa sure have had an abundance of old school toys because he brought Collin some too πŸ™‚

  7. She is such a cutie in her state of concentration and pure joy!

I can’t wait for my girl to be old enough that she doesn’t eat the pegs. And I’m already planning on the Eeasy Bake Oven, Snoopy Sno Cone Maker and mini mommy bake set! For now, Little People rule her toy box.

  8. ZOMG! I used to love LOVE playing with that as a kid!!
