Don’t they look good enough to eat?

Tonight was rainy, cold … and pretty near perfect. Sophie was a trooper in her costume. Didn’t mind it a bit. And Lily loved telling everyone she was a “hambugger.”

We made rice krispie treats, lit up our jack-o-lantern and wiggled into costumes early. I love seeing Halloween through their eyes. Having kids changes everything, big and small. And on days like today, I’m reminded how awesome my life is with these two amazing little people in it.

How was your Halloween? Tell me about your costumes! And was yours a starry or rainy night?

  1. They seriously could not be any cuter! We had a clear, chilly Halloween, and the toddler was amenable to wearing the homemade Boots the Monkey costume! Win!

  2. OMG that is perfect. I am dying over your lil hot dog. SO glad your fam had fun!

  3. What?? The footless hot dog?! Oh my gosh, that is incredible! I’m with you – seeing things through a child’s eyes makes it infinitely more fun and special. D was Little Red Riding Hood with R as her big bad wolf. Mommy doesn’t really do costumes. šŸ™‚ But our T-o-T was on Sunday afternoon, not Halloween night. Boo.

  4. capital A, Adorable. You have some cutie pies!!!
