cookie balls

I could lie and say that Laura and I were the hit of the Posy launch party, but in fact, it was the little lovelies pictured above.

On the Sunday before the party, the Deputy and I rolled up our sleeves and made eleventy dozen cookie balls. The best part about this recipe? It’s E-A-S-Y. In a nutshell: mix a brick of cream cheese into a bowl of crushed cookies, roll them into balls and dip. They set in the fridge in a matter of minutes.

And you can use any type of cookie your heart desires. We made them with Oreos, mint Oreos, Nutter Butters and ginger snaps. We dipped in white and semi-sweet chocolate and used sprinkles (because no cookie-making session is complete without sprinkles).

These are my go-to holiday cookies because they’re so simple and delicious. They make great gifts for neighbors, teachers, the mailman. And they don’t require use of the oven (WIN).

All of the recipes are here.
